The Department of Defense International Affairs Certification Program (IACP) is a voluntary program available to all DoD civil service, military, and Locally Employed Staff (LES) personnel regardless of the billet funding source. Personnel who desire to achieve and maintain certification within one of the three tiers of certification are required to complete International Affairs (IA) specific training and meet basic core competencies, education requirements, and experience thresholds associated with the particular tier.
More details about the International Affairs Certification Program requirements and the Directive are available here.
This presentation provides an introduction to the IACP including the standardized certification guidelines as based on the DoD Directive 5012, system functionality and a user's guide for the online certification process.
